Shoot & Scoop Basketball
Ages 3 - 6 Shoot and Scoop is designed to be a skills development and learning program. Adults are asked to participate with their child in this high learning fundamental program. Participants will use a small ball and lower baskets to help learn positive skills. At the end of each evening participants will cool off with ice cream.

Dribblers Basketball
Ages 4 - 7 The YMCA has designed a league for little brother or sister. All participants will learn the fundamentals of basketball such as passing, shooting and dribbling in this skills development league. Practice times are incorporated into game times. Parent volunteers are always needed as coaches. All participants will receive a t-shirt and celebration party on the last day.

Passers Basketball
Held at Mineral Wells Elementary
Ages 4 - 7 Passers basketball is played at Mineral Wells Elementary. Participants will be divided into similar age and ability levels. Our league uses lower 8’ baskets and smaller basketballs to help the kids have a positive experience. An “everybody wins” attitude makes Passers basketball a great program. All participants receive a t-shirt and a celebration party on the last day.

YMCA/Church Basketball
Grades 1 - 6 The minors division consists of children in grades 1-3 and will play with a smaller basketball and 8’ baskets. The majors division consists of children in grades 4-6 and will play with an intermediate ball and 10’ baskets. Churches may sponsor teams or participants may register and be placed on a YMCA team.
