We have a half-day program for children 3 – 5 years of age that offers an early introduction to the school setting. This program ispart of our full day child care program at no additional charge and is open to other children in the community for a fee.
Your child will have the opportunity to develop self-confidence, creativity, social skills, and gross and fine motor skills. Since allchildren are individuals, we believe in developing the whole child . . . emotionally, physically, intellectually, and socially inaccordance with his or her own needs and style. The YMCA Preschool Program offers a balance between structured and unstructured time. The preschool is held September through May and generally follows the Wood County School District calendar.
